Serves the UAE and Saudi Arabia. - Heritage: roots go back to 1978, when the region's first dedicated music shop, Disc Jockey, opened. - Service: music curated per brand, a Schedule per Zone, Playlists kept fresh and updated as the venue and the season change, two site visits included. - Region: music pauses and resumes at prayer times automatically; playlists are checked beyond explicit content filtering for anything that conflicts with local values or the brand. - Players: Pulse App (iOS and Android), Pulse Web (browser or Windows app), Pulse Sonos, Pulse Player (dedicated device), or the venue's existing system as a per-venue stream. Compatibility is determined by the player only. Playback continues through connectivity drops. - Monitoring: Pulse View shows every Zone and every player live, with remote control and full history. - Music options: commercial music (the venue pays the published tariff to a licensed collector) or royalty free music licensed directly from its rights holders for business use. Same platform, chosen per brand or per Zone. - UAE music licensing: Ministerial Resolution 136 of 2026 is in force from 1 December 2026. Two licensed collectors, EMRA (Emirates Music Rights Association) and Music Nation. Public performance fees are set by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and paid by the venue operator to a licensed collector, in the operator's own name, by published tariff band. Cloud Pulse is not a collecting society, never bills or remits these fees, and assists the venue with the process at no additional charge. - Saudi Arabia: statements are territory neutral; there is no collector in KSA. ## Pages - [Home](https://cloud-pulse.com/): what Cloud Pulse does, every kind of venue, UAE licensing from 1 December 2026, commercial or royalty free music, how it works in five steps, the players, prayer times, getting started, contact. - [Music licensing in the UAE](https://cloud-pulse.com/music-licensing-uae/): what changes on 1 December 2026, the two licensed collectors and how to reach them, how the fee is set by venue category, who is exempt, the venue's part and Cloud Pulse's part, three steps, sources. - [Can I play Spotify in my business?](https://cloud-pulse.com/legal-music-for-business/): what the terms of Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Anghami say about business use, and the two separate things a venue needs. - Venue pages, one per kind of venue, each with its Zones, the fee basis for its category from the Ministry's guide, and the questions that venue asks: [Restaurants](https://cloud-pulse.com/restaurants/), [Cafés and coffee shops](https://cloud-pulse.com/cafes-coffee-shops/), [Bars and pubs](https://cloud-pulse.com/bars-and-pubs/), [Hotels](https://cloud-pulse.com/hotel/), [Shops](https://cloud-pulse.com/shop/), [Grocery stores](https://cloud-pulse.com/grocery-stores/), [Gyms](https://cloud-pulse.com/gym/), [Spas](https://cloud-pulse.com/spas/), [Salons](https://cloud-pulse.com/salons/). - [Saudi Arabia](https://cloud-pulse.com/saudi-arabia/): the same service in KSA; the licensing pages describe the UAE only. - [Royalty free music for business](https://cloud-pulse.com/royalty-free-music-for-business/): music licensed directly from its rights holders for business use, designed to sit outside the collective tariff; whether a fee is owed is confirmed by the licensed collector, not by Cloud Pulse; chosen per brand or per Zone on the same platform as commercial music. - [How to choose a background music provider](https://cloud-pulse.com/how-to-choose-a-background-music-provider/): ten questions to ask any provider, with Cloud Pulse's contract wording as the answer to each. - [How it works](https://cloud-pulse.com/how-it-works/): the five steps, the five player options, on a Schedule or on demand, getting started. - [Prayer times](https://cloud-pulse.com/prayer-times/): how music pauses and resumes at prayer times automatically, on every player option. - [Glossary](https://cloud-pulse.com/glossary/): Zone, Schedule, Playlist, Override, public performance right, collective management, licensed collector, tariff band, royalty free music. - [Questions](https://cloud-pulse.com/faq/): every question venues ask, in one place. - [About](https://cloud-pulse.com/about/): Cloud Pulse LLC, Dubai, since 1978. - [Free trial](https://cloud-pulse.com/free-trial/): two weeks in the venue, free, nothing signed: installed, Zones configured, library Playlists on a Schedule; playback stops at day 15 unless continuation is agreed; curated Playlists at enterprise scale, agreed per case.
