Zones
One hotel, many rooms, one view
Each Zone gets its day plan. None of them share a Schedule unless you want them to.
Lobby
The brand's first sound, from early check-out to late arrival.
Restaurants and bars
Breakfast opens calm, lunch lifts the tempo, dinner builds, the late service winds down.
Spa and pool
Their own Schedules, their own volume curves.
Gym and studios
Gym floor on a Schedule. Studios on demand, the instructor picks.

Every property, live
Every Zone, every player, in Pulse View.
Every Zone is monitored: live Zone status (playing, paused), player status (online or offline), remote playback control, and complete playback and log history. Head office has full visibility over all its Zones in Pulse View. Rollout brand by brand or property by property; existing equipment reused where the survey confirms it.
Why it matters
In your restaurants, the fit pays
more revenue with music that fits the brand than with popular music that does not. Sixteen chain restaurants.

studies, 3,599 participants: music improves performance, lifts mood during exercise and lowers perceived effort. Fast tempo works best.

Music licensing in the UAE
Hotels from 1 December 2026
Your fee is set by guest rooms only. Restaurants, halls, shops and leisure inside the hotel each pay under their own category. The collector confirms each band.
Where Cloud Pulse stands
Your part, our part
Your part
- You hold the licence, in your own name.
- You choose a licensed collector: EMRA or Music Nation.
- You pay the fee for your band to the collector.
Our part
- We supply the music for business use.
- We help you through the process, at no extra charge.
- We never bill or collect performance fees.
Public performance fees are set by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and are paid by the venue operator to a licensed collector. The fee for each location follows the published tariff band for its category, determined by the operator's own seat count or floor area and confirmed by the collector. Cloud Pulse never bills or remits these fees.
Technology and the region
Your system, your prayer times
Works with what you have
Compatibility is determined by the player only. Pulse Sonos on Sonos systems, controlled from the Sonos app. A per-venue stream on the equipment you already have, confirmed at the site survey. Pulse Player where the environment demands a dedicated device. The player is your choice.
Pauses and resumes
Music pauses and resumes at prayer times automatically, with pre-prayer, prayer and post-prayer windows configured to the client's requirements. Playback starts on power-up and continues through connectivity drops from a local cache.
Questions
What hotels ask
How is a hotel's licence fee set?
By guest rooms only. Restaurants, halls, shops and leisure inside the hotel each pay under their own category. The fee follows the published tariff band and is confirmed by the collector.
Does the hotel's licence cover its restaurants and bars?
No. Outlets inside a hotel are charged under their own category: restaurants and cafés by seat count, not under the hotel's room count.
Who holds the licence, the owner or the operator?
Public performance rights are the responsibility of the venue operator under UAE law and are held in the operator's own name.
Can the lobby, the spa and the pool play different music?
Yes. Each is a Zone with its own Schedule, and head office sees every Zone live in Pulse View.
We already have a Sonos or AV system. Does it work?
Compatibility is determined by the player only. Pulse Sonos runs on Sonos systems, controlled from the Sonos app; an existing system takes a per-venue stream on the equipment you already have, confirmed at the site survey.
Do you serve hotels in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Cloud Pulse serves the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The licensing statements on this page describe the UAE.
