The moments

Ten, on every Playlist

Every Playlist is described on four axes: the business it is for, the moment it plays in, its genre and its mood. The moments:

  • Morning Open
  • Midday / Lunch
  • Afternoon
  • Evening / Sundown
  • Late Night
  • Ramadan
  • Eid Celebration
  • National Day (UAE / KSA)
  • Festive Season (secular)
  • Special Events & VIP

Every Zone has its own Schedule, so the terrace and the dining room can differ.

How it changes

Three moments, set by you

Ramadan

Tell us what the venue needs and the Schedule is set to it. Music pauses and resumes at prayer times automatically, with pre-prayer, prayer and post-prayer windows configured to the client's requirements.

Eid Celebration

The Eids are a moment of their own. Every Zone has its own Schedule, so the terrace and the dining room can differ.

National Day (UAE / KSA)

One moment, both countries. Tell us what the venue needs and the Schedule is set to it.

Every day of the year

Prayer times, handled

Pauses and resumes

Music pauses and resumes at prayer times automatically, with pre-prayer, prayer and post-prayer windows configured to the client's requirements. How prayer times work.

Nothing for staff to do

Playback starts on power-up without staff involvement. Music is not interrupted by connectivity drops: the player holds a local cache and continues playing until the connection returns.

Questions

What venues ask

Do we have to do anything when Ramadan starts?

No. Tell us what the venue needs and the Schedule is set to it. The pauses and resumes at prayer times are automatic.

Can the Eid music differ by Zone?

Yes. Every Zone has its own Schedule, so the terrace and the dining room can differ.

Is National Day covered in Saudi Arabia as well?

Yes. Cloud Pulse serves the UAE and Saudi Arabia with the same platform. National Day (UAE / KSA) is one of the moments every Playlist can be described on.

What about the festive season and special events?

Festive Season (secular) and Special Events & VIP are moments too. Tell us what the venue needs and the Schedule is set to it.

Can staff pick the Playlist on the night?

Yes. Zones can run without a Schedule. Venue staff select the Playlist for each session, and it plays as an Override for that session. Cloud Pulse builds and refreshes the Playlists; the venue chooses which one plays and when.
